The saga continues...

A good thing about having no TV in the room I'm staying in while in New York is that I listen to a lot of new music every night. As you can tell I've been sharing. I've always been a fan of John Legend and this song continues my fandom. Although, he's only featured. Check out the video and infer what you want about the symbolism in it.

Bassnectar dropped his 2010 IDJ Mixtape this morning (like literally in the last few hours) for FREE via his podcast. Direct linkage here. Say thank you later. It's DOPE! A favorite on the mix is a revamp Bassnectar style of The Pixies Where Is My Mind. ENJOY!

Forgot I joined this website a long time ago. However, if you've never checked out The Hype Machine do it. NOW. I realized too few people know about this site when only ONE, a poor ONE of my Twitter peeps are on the site. Especially fun is their Music Blog Zeitgiest 2010.

Figured I'd share this to a broader audience. Pretty much what I do whenever my friends call/text/ask me in person to fix something on their computers. It's pretty simple so follow the flow chart.

Thanks to Treble over at Food 4 Ears for the Where Did It All Go Wrong post. I hadn't realized how much good music I missed out on this year by being trapped in a Top 40 work environment and life. Outside of Bonnaroo I don't think I experienced and new music this year and that's just sad. If you're into music (as anyone who knows me should be) make sure to work your way over to his blog and subscribe. A fellow Belmont alum and he knows his shit (his real name isn't Treble btw). So far today I've listed to Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and The Arcade Fire's The Suburbs. Kanye's album is ridiculous. I expect it to enter heavy roation as long as the Kanye West & Jay-Z collabo Watch The Throne doesn't drop too soon. The Arcade Fire didn't do it for me. Might be why I've never listened to them. However, it's not gettin taken out of my library. I'll listen to it again when I'm in that mood. That's all for now. Working tonight and tomorrow night and visiting family in NYC soon.
